We are very sorry to announce that the Mineral Point Blues & Roots Festival has come to an end.

Despite excellent lineups and the hard work of many individuals, the numbers were against us. We decided that the fest could not continue without the financial support required to sustain it.

We are extremely proud to have brought world-class blues musicians to Mineral Point, many of them internationally touring artists, including Grammy winners and nominees. It’s been an exhilarating six-year run, and a successful one — at least in terms of music quality and satisfied audiences.

Thanks to all of you who believed in the mission and came to enjoy our shows.

And a million thanks to the Mineral Point Historical Society, the Mineral Point Opera House for hosting our last festival after we lost our outdoor space, and all the other volunteers and vendors who helped make our festival possible.
